SWC with Bryce Bennett created too many flaws, unfinished work, errors, mistakes throughout the process and with the completed house that was built by Bryce & SWC. Continued unresolved issues with electric, a door frame and more. Wrong kitchen countertops. Incorrect hardware installed in kitchen & bathrooms. The new Fridge didn't fit the designated space in the kitchen. Thus, had to search for a different fridge after taking possession of the house. Way too many issues. Disappointed.

The first contractor I interviewed was great. I even told her "I feel bad for the next guy because you are great!" Then I met Bryce Bennett! He had me at "45 to 60 days..." I thought he was talking about timeframe for completing just the foundation... he said "no, the whole project." He explained to me the process and his sub relationships, we looked through the plans I had selected and everything was a yes, that is, almost nothing they couldn't do. I was encouraged and I certainly preferred 60 days to the 180+ days quoted by the other contractor. I would describe Bryce as "at home" with the entire building process. He worked through plan updates and selections with my sister and I for hours. He got the updated plan and costs to us within a couple of days so we could finalize details quickly. He seems to have a good working relationship with county building department employees and clear understanding of zoning and codes. He is very willing and able to get estimates for us for work beyond the scope of the building project which has been so helpful. So far, Bryce and SWC have been nothing but the real deal! I'm enjoying working with them and so excited for our new lake home!
